Does anyone know if any of the distrubutors have any of the RFB-C Desert Storm in stock or when the next shipment will be?

Tax time just around the corner and I want one very badly. I already know I am going to be waiting too long for the KSG so I will jump to the RFB first.

EE might be your only choice I know someone was selling one at a point. I got one but it wont ever be for sale ;) I dont think they will be any new one anytime soon!

There are only 6 distributors in Canada so just call them all up and ask. The black ones are getting easier to get. I just got mine in January and got lucky with no waiting list.
I haven't heard anything about any new DS models coming out though.
You could also email Vault and ask them about DS models.

I was thinking of painting the steel parts of mine FDE. Sort of reverse DS model:)

You can always get the barrel threaded and add a brake or flash hider if you want.
Recoil is pretty light so a brake isn't really needed but it would make follow up shots quicker and it would look better.

Good luck.

Yeah I liked the color of the DS and I also wanted the factory (with warrenty) brake installed when I got it.

I would be willing to purchase a black (standard) model as well but I would like the muzzle brake as well. I wish Kel-tec offered upgrade parts or accessories to change the trim as you wished.

I was considering the Tavor but decided on the RFB mainly because I want to try and keep everything in the next few purchases .308 so I thought it would be simpler for ammo. Also I am not a huge fan of the .223 personally and want something with a bit more impact, like the .308 offers.

There is a post somewhere on here where a guy asked Kel-Tec about warranty issues after threading the barrel and their response was that it does not void the warranty and that Vault can direct you to someone in Canada that can thread the barrel and you can add whatever you want.

The company is Dlask.

I guess I will have to phone the dealers on monday to get on the list and find out about the next shipment.

I really want one of these since the first time I saw them, Legal non-restricted bullpup here I come.

i called vault a few weeks ago and i was told that having the barrel threaded by dlask would still void the keltec warranty. :(

thats too bad because id like to have my rfb's barrel threaded.

Yeah that's what I would have thought.

I didn't get the chance to call today just got in now. I will to see if any of the dealers know when the next shipment is coming in, and which has the lowest waiting list. I would like to deal with Wolverine.

This is a copy paste from another thread. The guy spoke to Kel-Tec directly about threading the barrel and this was the reply he got.

the warranty is void if the barrel is threaded is BS, here is the e-mail i got from kel-tec

Hi ###xx,

No, you can safely thread the muzzle without voiding the warranty and you don’t even have to remove the barrel to do it. Our wholesaler in Canada knows a company that can do this for you if needed.

oh thats some good news. i wonder why i was told differently.

i guess it would be a good idea for us to personally contact kel-tec so that we would have our own emails showing that it is okay to do.
