So, now that the RFB is out in the Canadian market- was it worth the hype?

Is it worth all the pennies paid?

Curious, because as a Black Rifle enthusiast, I am interested in the rifle, and if it ever comes to pass, and I have the opporunity to pick up this rifle- should I?

Also- for bonus points- what dealers are selling these puppies, or are they still back-ordered?

All stocking dealers have waiting lists. WITH ONE EXCEPTION MAYBE... Elwood Eps just came online as a stocking dealer & my buddy scooped up two of them with no waiting list! He was extremely lucky because he doesn't have much time left & wanted to leave them as presents to his two children...

Try Epps... And, your asking if the RFB is worth it... HELL YA! It is the coolest 308 black rifle you can hunt with!!!

Cheers
Jay

I find the recoil is really soft for a 308, now I can't whait to try it with my new kel-tec break.

Was tge rfb worth it for me yes! Is it cheap? No not really but you get alot of gun for the money, plus its no more expansive then the xcr, swiss arm , tavor and the likes!

308 seems to be popular enough but (IMO only), it's just too much round for general purpose plinking. Get a version out in 223 or 7.62x39 and I'd think they'd fly off the shelves.

So there not flying of the shelves??? LOL

I'll admit that I can't shoot mine sub MOA...more like 2 MOA for me. But it's a great rifle overall. As has been mentioned...get quality mags and you won't go wrong.

Comparatively speaking. There's a certain market for 308 and those rifles are indeed selling. But I suspect the market for a smaller calibre would be even greater. Especially in the rest vs non-rest environment that is Canada.

.260Rem or even .243Win. Any word on the RFB being considered in those calibers?

If you believe wikipedia, apparently KT is coming out with CFB (carbine, forward ejection, bullpup) models in 5.56, 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel and 6.8 Rem. The 5.56 version will use AR mags.

If you thought sales were brisk now...;)

With a comparative lack of non-restricted .308 semi autos up here, they will sell for sure! I wish they were under 2g, but thats life in Canada. Wonder how much longer before the next batch of RFB's come in?

It is a wonderful rifle - I've not had an issue with mine, and I'd buy another in a heartbeat... I've been using my Tavor for deer the last few seasons with great success, and although I wasn't lucky this season, the RFB was a perfect rifle. I had an unfortunate accident with a woodsplitter vs finger on opening day, and after it was sewed back on I was instantly left handed - not wanting to wreck the trip, I adjusted the sling to southpaw, along with the RFB charging handle and voila - leftie gun...

Accuracy wise I get 1.5 inch groups from a bench rest at 100m using a 4x optic, and Winchester 168 gr. ballistic tips...
