Kel-Tec RFB

IMO - for, give or take, close to $3,000, in a .308 caliber, one would be better off with a target semi-auto platform or of course, a bolt rifle.

5.56 in a BlackRifle is where all the fun is :D

.223 caliber isn't legal in all provinces for big game.

.223 is NOT suitable for Bear, Moose, Elk etc.

.223 is marginal for Deer.

.308 is versatile cartridge capable of taking most North American game out to 300 meters.

RFB is cool rifle, compact(making it ideal for hunting, camping), will fit in quad box, easy to carry while stalking, equally as nice in a tree-stand, and with the right load and solid rest appears easily capable of MOA accuracy.

Guaranteed conversation piece when out at the firing range.

P.S.

Will likely make C.0s and RCMP crap in their drawers when they see you out hunting and the look on their face when you tell them it is NON-restricted will be priceless.

Ahh never said they weren't fun, but at that price point, i.e. $3,000+, I still stand by my original opinion (not a fact..right...i think :p ) that one would be better off with a semi-auto target or bolt rifle for that particuliar round :sniper:

I like to have my gun in front with me in the truck wen i'm hunting not on the back seat cause its 44 plus inch lol

Well said.
We have the up to. 270 rule in my part of Ontario. Kinda sucks but what do you do?

I know a few RCMP members with RFB's or had them.

I would say that 95% of COs and LEO are ignorant of current gun laws and guns available for purchase in Canada that are classified as non-restricted.....

thus most would look at an RFB and automatically assume it is at least restricted class or prohib.

The first question I always get at the range when someone sees me shooting it ....." is that thing legal? "..... followed by ...."can I shoot it?":D
