I had a muzzle brake on mine, and it was super loud, I've been told by folks on here, that a linear comp is much quieter. Got a nice one from S&J hardware.

Yes, I've sold it, I got my pistolgrip/butstock from Calgary Shooting Center, I hear Ellwood Epps has them also. I went with the aluminum forearm from Redlion, though I think the poly forend looks better.

If you spent $3000.00 on a black rifle that shoots 223 and I spent $1300.00 you will do all in your power to bash my so called POS. Its semi auto it shoots 223 and 556(as per my Keltec email) just like your $3000.00 guns. It looks cool (FDE). Shot every mag possible including .50 Beowulf mags and LAR Pistol mags. Cant say flawless as every once and a while I get an FTF and stove pipe same as my buddy shooting his XCR. Got a sh.t load of beer money more than the so called elite crowd at the end of the day! IMHLO (in my humble little opinion) love the gun a ton of fun!!!!!

You cant compare a $1400 rifle to a $2500 rifle just because it shoots the same ammo.

I had an SU-16 and I could not do better than 5-6 inches at 100m, tried different ammo and that was using some different optics. I moved out to try some shots at 200 - 300 meters and the spread was just to much to use for hunting.

If I was off to war I would agree, for play at the range and bush occasional coyote hunting disagree

Hey J Ace,
I was deciding between the norinco t97 and the su16fx a little while back, and since I couldn't get my hands on the fx, I just got the su16. That was about 400 or so rounds ago. I'm using a combo of .50 Beowulf mags, standard gi mags and lar-10 mags. I've maybe had a dozen (at the absolute most) FTE and I've only been shooting the American eagle 55grain stuff you can pick up anywhere (canadian tire in a pinch). It's light and I honestly like shooting it. For ####s I did something like the guy (bushcraft?) in the video below did to his, leupold riflemen see through scope rings, it's a cool set up, I dig it.

At 2:30 I think buddy talks about his scope rings, and at 4:40 you get a down barrel view.

Accuracy wise I plan on testing the zero at 50/200 or whatever it's called. Haven't done it yet, but in a couple weeks once I'm done trade school that's the plan.
For me, this is my first 5.56 sooooo it's more of a way to test the waters before I buy a more expensive AR.

Rjf1993 it's great to see this rifle the way we do. Kel tech gets some mixed reviews. For some it just does not pan out for them. That's unfortunate the su16fx is a great gun.

The real issue is that Kel tec is more like a $300 rifle but people pay 1000 plus just cause it's NR. Much the same as the Tavor, over priced just because of classification. Nothing against the Tavor.....but a Tavor the Keltec is not. Looks like a cheap plastic toy! My opinion only.
