I personally like the factory forend, it is one of the things that makes this rifle unique,
It is super light bush gun, you would shoot it of hand most of the time, but for those few times when you'll really need a bipod, it will do just fine.
Would be nice to be able to change the front sight to a gas-block one..

Has anyone asked Kel-Tec to offer such a thing yet?:D

I think with a gas-block front sight and having the barrel threaded for a comp would make for a pretty neat package.

Kel-Tec would thread the barrel IF the "US of A" would allow it to be exported like that... Even the RFB-DS came into Canada UNTHREADED & went off to DLASK to be threaded with the blessing of Kel-Tec wrt warranty...

Now the gas block front sight, that SHOULD happen! Hopefully Kel-Tec is listening!

Cheers

I never threaded a rifle, but my su16 seems to have enough exposed barrel ahead of the front sight to be threaded.

details on the brake is in the Review thread.

Lookin good.
I'm just going to put a M16A2 I've got layin around on mine.
Hopefully it's not too much to have it threaded....
Ballpark estimates anyone????

It feels like a toy!

It seems like it works well though.

Definitely worth the $500 they go for down south.

However not worth the $800 + goodies you will pay for it up here!

Remind me again as to what other Non-restricted semi in .223 that takes 10rd mags for under $1,000 that exists in Canada?

The theoretical AR180 that may or may not ever return

I'll take one if they ever come back....

In the meantime, I'll spend the money on something that's overpriced
