Kel-Tec SU-16f

But who makes the handle?
It's made by ToughForce. Here's the Amazon.com link to it but Amazon won't ship it to Canada. I's gots connections!!

I'm liking some of the ToughForce stuff that's out there. They make a decent rail for the AR's now too. Optional 6 sided modular. Love it. Seems quality too.

Starting to put some coin aside for the SU16.. What should I expect to pay after taxes for this? I think the best price I've seen is 799+ tax.. Anybody doing better than that?

I paid $750 for mine and $150 for the AR stock. I did also buy 1000rds, 8 10rd pistol mags, a double rifle case and 4 mag couplers all at the same time.......come to think of it......they only charged me for 4 mags too!!

Confirmed with the Technical assistance people from Kel Tec that the SU-16F was just re-marked 223 for sale in Canada. It can fire 5.56 no problem.

Also here is the official Kel-Tec owners forum, lots of good info here.

Including how to replace the take-down pin with a Hinge pin and how the LAR -15 10 rounders won't store in the back of the rifle properly.

One 5/30 rounders fits fine.

Thanks!

The original idea came from DarthPaul on the Kel Tec Owners Group forums and I just followed what he did. My only addition was the cut down UTG riser between the forend and the stock rail. It eliminated any movement of the forend and helped line it up with the stock rail. So far its 100% solid, but I have yet to shoot with it on, and the top rail comes off for easy disassembly of the gun.

Did you take your front sight off yourself? if so, how hard was it? did you have to use a torch? and after taking it off, if you had to put the original sight back on, how hard would it be???

Thx. Nice build btw...

The front site is held on by 2 screws. It comes off and goes on very easilly. When you add the AR stock and the fore end.....it ceases being a 5.6lb rifle.

Thx. Are ther any indexing marks or grooves? or should I mark it before taking it off in case I need to put it back on??
