Well finally got out to the range yesterday with my new Kel-tec SU-22 and all I can say is "SWEET"

Shoot only federal 525 bulk pack and the only malfunction I had all day with it was on the first mag. I had a fail to eject and it was the last round in the mag that was supplied with the rifle. No other problems then that.

The Black Dog XForm 26 round mags are so worth the money, feed sooooooo reliably its not funny. Should have bought more then 3 of them at the time.

I truly love this rimfire rifle, it is the best .22lr I have/had (except my dads old cooey 64).

I highly recommend this to anyone, best money spent yet on a .22

Groups were good at 50y until I started rapid firing thru them, then it was all business ;)

All I need now is a F/H for looks, a cheapy red dot and Im done

Anybody else have one that they are enjoying??

OMG where did you get your AR stock? I've been looking for one!
I love my su-22. I ordered the magazine loader from Brownells, sice like you I have three 27 rounders.
Oh did you do the mod on the stock 10 round mag?
Take the mag apart, dremmel out the stop pin and you can now fit 15 rounds in your stock mag.
50% increase!! Happy Happy Joy Joy

Does anyone know of and dealers that will ship Canada side the AR stock?
I really want one and I'm on the list for all the dealers in Canada. However Vault hasn't been great about getting these stock.
Kel-tec had them in stock, but what do you know, I can't go through them, Vault has exclusive rights in Canada. Oh did I tell you I can't order from them either? I have to go through one of there listed dealers?
Monopolies aren't good for consumers

I bought mine off the EE for a bit of inflation but didnt care as I needed it to help complete my rifle.
I think Wanstalls might have just got some in.

I did not realize that, but will be doing it to the mag now for sure!!!!!!!!

Is this non restricted? I'm in that phase of narrowing down all the tac-cool .22s

Yes it is non-restricted, which makes it that much more better

If that mag is classified as a pistol mag you just created a prohibited device.

You don't know much about kel tec then, just the laws.
Yes this is why I didn't buy a M&P 15/22 even if it wasn't restricted.
The black dog mags fit both the rifle and pistol, same with the stock mag from what I know.
Until the RCMP request all mags be pinned like the M&P. I'm happy!

I asked because the PLR-22 came first and that could mean all those mags are pistol mags. It may have come as a 10 rounder for good reason. The BDM mags are clearly marketed as being for rifles, not pistols, so you can do whatever with them.

Rifle looks great bfiles. This my next purchase to go with my Su16, RFB, and Sub2k. Now if only someone would answer my WTB ad on a KSG I'd have a happy little Keltec family, non restricted family that is.

I was also looking at the SR22, I'm starting to think that the little extra bit of money would be well spent since there is so much aftermarket for the 10/22. Basically I'm trying to the "Jeep" of tactical 22s, one with the most aftermarket. How does the Kel Tec SU-22 compare to the SR22?

1/2 the weight. 1/2 the time to disassemble and unfortunately 1/2 the aftermarket parts for the SU22. Had the SR22 for a bit and its nice to upgrade but really digging the SU22 more.

If i get this i am rabbit hunting with it......

If I get grief from the RCMP on it theyll get grief from me in the form of my PAL, hunting license, a print of out the notice to RCMP on round limits, and middle finger.

I just got me pistol grip w/stock. Wow what a weight difference! I really like the pull pin on the new lower.
So question, the PLR has the same mags so why doesn't all the mags have to be pinned to 10 in Canada?
