I have been messing around with my Kel Tec su16 for a few months now. I found the accuracy of this gun to be borderline acceptable.
Today I took the fore end off and put the barrel in a vice. What I discovered is that the plastic body of this gun is quite flexible and that this was the source of my accuracy issues.
I know this gun is not intended to be a long range tack driver but I would like to make it as good as I can without spending a ton of cash.
I am looking for a good barrel mount scope rail. The only ones I have seen are for accessories with only a short rail. Is there a cantilever barrel mount scope rail available?
Once I get this gun shooting decent I would like to drop the scope and put a Vortex Spark on it. So I don't need to have the rail as far back as I would for a scope.
