Kel-Tec SU22

Before people get on Vault's back they are a distributor not a retailer. Retailers are hopefully on that message board to ask. Also I know wolverine and wanstalls are dealers to ask about this. I would like one in non res only.

I would really like it with this on it.

This is the SU16 if they can put wood on this one then they can put it on the SU22

I wonder if you can fit a AR15 22 conversion kit inside the SU16 and make it work for 22LR?
All I can see is a simple mod for a bolt handle and you would be golden no???

I'd sell my 10/22 and eat KD for a week to pay for a non-res one (and I hate KD). I'd eat it without ketchup if it came with the collapsable stock.

x2 :)

I'm guessing these things will retail in the $500 range if they ever come to be in Canada. I need another rimfire like a kick in the pills, but this one might be too hard to resist. Guess I should start saving.. :)

And yes...I'm trying to keep this thread alive, maybe someone who sells Kel-Tec might notice.

Meh...It looks as though they went out of their way to make it as ugly as possible. From an aesthetics stand point it has zero...point...zero ### appeal.

I don't know 2b4u....I was just planning on shooting mine when I get it. To each his own. :)

IMHO, I think most .22lr "black/tactical" rifles are equally ugly, but at least the Kel-Tec is unique looking. Also very light. I cover allot of ground when I'm shooting, and think if this thing can handle the cold...it'll be a welcome companion in the field.

This with a MOE buttstock, vortex flash hider, stubby vert grip and a 1-4x30 scope would be keeping me sassified for a long time
I don't know about that - every time I see a picture of an SU-16 with an MOE buttstock, I can't help but think, damn that looks chunky. MOE's look great on AR's and plenty of other rifles, but the long, narrow stock that comes with the pistol grip/stock package seems to suit this rifle better.

that barrel looks long enough to be NR and I dont mind the looks of it so long as it has the appearance of a silencer (note I am not saying fake silencer, just a barrel that looks somewhat like a silencer but is just a thicker barrel)

Would the break in half feature of this gun count as a "folding stock" thing where they measure the gun from the fold to the end of the barrel to determine NR status?

hope not

You can't fire the SU16F while folded. I can't speak to their reasoning but other take down rifles can be non-restricted too.
