hey guys.. having a problem where after each round is fired the bolt does not appear to go back far enough to reset the hammer. So the first shot is fine but the next shot when you pull the trigger there is no resistance and no click. I am not sure if it is actually a problem with the safety though. Anyway I am using Blazer Brass 124 gr. I am bummed out because
this was my first time shooting it and had higher expectations. I used both original glock 9mm mags and KCI.

The safety on the Sub 2000 is garbage. Make sure it is fully disengaged prior to shooting. Sometimes the safety will partially engage while shooting and that's why it won't fire.

Also lube, and lots of it. You have to run it practically soaking wet.

Had the same issue, turned out the bolt was missing a cut, they quickly fixed it under warranty. also cleaning the tube and running it wet helped. Ammo I was using was 124gr plated with 4.0gr titegroup. Once fixed the problem went away.

Does anybody know of a fix for the safety moving from fire to safe after every shot? I'd hate to have it sent away for warranty service as it might take months to get back to me.

Mine is also having a problem with the safety engaging after firing. I have done a bit of research and it seems to be a re-ocurring problem, be a shame to send it away for possibly a few months to have the safety replaced. Has anyone found a fix themselves?

I actually sent mine back for warranty repair. It sucks, but as Colin said, part of his bolt face is missing a cut, which is a serious problem. I didn't want to take a chance with just a quick fix that might overlook some major issue.

Sent mine in after three days of shooting 100 rounds each day with a stoppage after every round. Trigger would not reset after shooting. Spent cases would get stuck when the bolt closed on them etc.
My carbine has been in a box at Vault for five weeks. They are busy fixing Kel Tecs. If I get mine back before October I'll be lucky.

was having the same problems. zap strap on the safety until it goes in for warranty and ran it soaking wet. no issues with blazer brass 115 grn using kci mags. was having a FTE after every few shots for 200 rounds but literally poured oil in the ##### and she ran like a champ for 150 rounds.

I just bought one too in 9mm glock. The safety was engaging after every shot. I took the safety out and it is running fine now. If anyone figures out what the problem with the safety is please let me know. I don't want to have to send it back under warranty. I would rather get my local gunsmith to fix it.

Apart from that the carbine is very accurate out to 100m and fun as hell.

I think my safety engaged on two separate occasions in 350 rounds. The last 100 rounds were flawless. I will keep an eye on it. Hoping its just a break-in related issue like FTEs.
