Kel-Tec's new .308 Rifle

MPI, yes Keltec isn't known for quality. How ever, I will trust the people that have handled it before some one who is going by reputation.

Apparently Keltec is under new management, or ownership, or something, and they are working to improve quality.
Did the people who handled it also conduct any extensive reliability/durability tests? I will trust reputation before I will trust something written on the Internet by some random guy who "handled it".

I assure you Kel-Tec's reputation is born from people who have handled it.:shotgun: :( :puke:

Good for them they should start by changing the company name...;)
I guess I'm just hoping that this rifle won't be complete junk.

As for Vanisle, you are banned from this forum.

They need to work on that forward ejection. Watching a casing or two get hung up, then having 3 fall out doesn't look good. Then pop in a fresh mag, and it's like Christmas - two more casings that you thought you had lost!

I can't see myself buying a gun that has a 50% chance to fully eject a casing on it's first try.

From the videos I have seen of the FS 2000, its forward ejection was very positive, and consistant. I remember reading that it would even reliably eject the casing clear of the gun when shooting straight up.

Still, this is one to keep an eye on.

I guess I worded that wrong, as I realise they are just coming to rest in the tube.

I would like to see each individual casing get a big enough push to eject it completely each and every time regardless of the angle of the rifle.

very very cool looking. price is a bit steep, but if it made it here I think I'd own one.

The FN S2000 "conveyor" system doesn't eject each round completely always either, the rounds typically "fall" out in 2 and 3's smiliar to Kel-Tec's. I'm sure someone can post a video or describe it better.

It’s a knock off of the FS2000 because it appears to copy much of the design including the forward eject.

On the other hand, it manages to be every bit as butt-ugly as the FS2000, but in an entirely different way.

Personally, I hope that somebody imports the RFB. Hopefully, by the time they make it up here the initial quality bugs will have been worked out...

As I said "it appears to copy much" I qualified the statement because the video is all that I know about the Kel tec.
