Hey everyone, just wrote my non-restricted and also restricted back in january. I bought a Cooey model 600 .22 and having way too much fun plinkin up in the bush. I dont know much about firearms, but this site seems like the place to be if you got questions.

Hey fonz,
Where in Kelowna are you, I'm up above the airport. Is the 600 a semi auto? I don't know too much about Cooeys!

Where in Kelowna did you take the restricted course, I have the non restricted already, but havent been able to figure out where to do the restricted course? I've only lived in Kelowna a short while.

Man, that cooey design hasn't changed a bit! That was my first rifle :D

I'm in Kelowna aswell, hopefully I'll see you at the range. Speaking of which, Dave, I haven't seen you in a while.

I took my restricted at OUC on KLO. Not sure it they still offer it since the changeover to university. If they don't offer it I recommend that you contact Al at Del Selins gun shop in Vernon.

My duelling tree is supposed to get here for the long weekend! Maybe after that we could get together for a duelling/plinking session with a bunch of the .22 shooters here in Kelowna, I think that would be fun.

I usually take my Cooey to the Kelowna and district fish and game club range it is quite nice. There is a member there that gives PAL and RPAL courses. His course is good and his knowledge seems excellent. If you can't find him on their website www.kdfgc.org pm me and I will get his number when I see him at the trap shoot this weekend.
