Keltec RDB Defender

I am also waiting for see if Canada will get these. One of the thiings that prevented me on buying the RDB (which I did have the chance of buying) was the plastic fore-grip and no aftermarket alternatives in Canada. Hopefully we will get the RDB Defender if not it will have to be the Type 97/3.

Keltec makes their own metal fore ends now...

them front rails are lucky irshman that is who makes them for keltec could of made there own one

Lucky Irishman makes two different aluminum MLOK handguards for the RDB. They are made from bent / stamped aluminum and powder coated. They attach using a separate barrel block and screws.

KelTec makes their own aluminum RDB MLOK handguards. They are extruded, anodized and attach using the same push-pin design as the plastic handguards. They are not the same.

Vault is the official distributor. They're bringing them in regularly but KelTec production has been really slow this year. Vault currently seems to be importing the RDB and RDB-Survival but no word on the RDB Defender (although you can buy the Defender's MLOK handguard separately).

Nobody is bringing in a restricted version into Canada - even the grey market RDB and RDB-Cs are non-restricted.
