Do a search there are already a few threads about it.
Vault has already stated that it will be a long time before we see this in Canada.

so you know how here semi auto rifle is limited to 5 rounds but a pistol caliber carbine that uses mags designed for pistols we can get ten (eg. SUB2000) if we have this rimfire rifle with 30mags would the be okay to use in the pistol, the PMR?

or rifle caliber, such as the 223 10 rnd mags.

According to present precident yes they would be. but i'm pretty sure if they do show up the RCMP will find a way to shut down that fun factory. It WOULD boost the sales of 22 mag though.:nest:

Mags are common with pistol they were originally designed for so they would be limited to 10.
I.E the recent ruling on AR .22 mags limited to 10.

At least that's my take, but I don't want to say it too loudly.....

I agree. Depends on how Kel-Tec markets it. If they say it uses PMR magazines or the magazines are interchangeable with the PMR, we're screwed. If however they say it comes with its own magazine and makes no mention of the PMR, but the magazines just happen to fit and function in the PMR, 30 rounds all around.

Sadly I suspect they've already pushed out marketing info that promotes commonality with the PMR.

shocking ... could you reference me to the thread i attempted a search but failed .

This is a quote off of Vault ditribution site.

With Kel-Tec's announcement of the KSG we won't be seeing the RMR-30 anytime soon. This one would be another battle with the US Department Of State to get an export permit as well.

SU16-F is priority number for us to get approved at this this time. One battle at a time

No chance we would get the 30 round magazines up here, seeing as the RMR and the PMR-30 use the same magazines. (Unless I am mistaken)

It will be considered a pistol magazine, and pinned to 10.
