The second shipment of SU16s is only hitting stores now so you can expect other reports. Of course not all SU16 owners are members here? Maybe they are.. not that many?

Not me!
Just about done tricking mine out but hell it shoots great. Defenatly not no bolt gun but hell still can hit a pie plate @ 200 meters with a red dot. What more do you want from a rifle that is completely tricked out and still only wieghs 6 lbs fully loaded?

After looking at the pictures, it seems like the charging handle of the SU-16 is on the right side and can't be switched over, is that correct?
If so, that basically makes it a lefty gun.

Well  , b/c it ejects to the right (same side as the charging handle :yingyang: ) , it's pretty much better-suited for right-handers....:)

Scope pictured does not have enough adjustment for this rifle/calibre.
I'm waiting for my np29 from srfc that'll be shipping with some 30mm scope rings so I can test accuracy of the rifle. Got a scope, just no rings. Scope is a falcon 1.5-5x
I like the peep sights on it, especially the front sight, but the rear sight sucks for adjusting.
Not setup for reloading yet, but working on it.

I'm thinking an xcr would be better for coyote hunting, but I can't currently justify the $2000 price tag.
But the su16 is LIGHT and handy. I need a ar stock adapter for it, the normal rifle grip is good, but I think the ar style grip would be more comfy.

This post probably didn't help at all :p

I've seen a few times, guys say that a scope doesn't have enough adjustment for the SU16, I've got some Muellers and a bushnell 4200, anyone know if I'll have enough?

Also when you say you don't have enough, is that not enough to zero at 100, 200 or 300, or not enough to move it between various distances? I'd like to hope the 4200 will cover me between 100 and 200 at least.

Same scope as before cyclone. I'm getting some 30mm rings for my falcon scope when the np29s get shipped out.

Right now I have a working and sighted in stevens 200, so getting the su16 up and running isn't a priority.

Seems to be pretty normal for these rifles to require at least 30MOA in adjustment to get a 100yd zero. Thus you will likely need a scope with at least 70MOA total adjustment.
