We tried to get it through as a non-restricted, the RCMP looked at it and said the barrel extension doesn't count, so the barrel is 18.3" and restricted. We can order them in as a restricted if anyone wants them. We warranty what we sell, and that was the concern with getting them in smaller quantities that we felt they would sell in as restricted firearms.

We had an import request about 2 months ago for one of these and submitted an export permit request to US State Department. The permit was denied.

State Department approved a permit request just over a year ago, but now they have ruled that these are not "sporting" firearms and are therefore not approved for export to civilian end-users.

Makes no sense to us but that was the ruling by US State Department as of last month.
