I bought the 2000 Gen 2 multi-mag because I have numerous M&P mags along with a box of S&W 5906 mags which upon changing the mag catch, accepts them as well. Put a few Mcarbo parts on and a Blitzkrieg front sight post. Put over 2000 rounds through it and it is still doing fine. Love the Ruger as well but wanted to use the mags I had on hand as I don't own a Glock. Fold up aspect is cool if it suits your needs.
