Well after an excurtiating couple of hours of having springs fly every where I finally got the sub2k back together and it seems to feel really good. I replaced all the firing /trigger springs, the trigger and the trigger guard. Now it has a crisp feel with no sharp plastic. Cant wait to take it out and shoot.

Was yours a gen 1 or gen 2? I have a gen 2 and mine is actually pretty good as far as trigger pull goes. Now the plastic trigger on the other hand... If it's possible I'd like to replace with a steel one. I can feel the plastic flex and I'm always afraid I'm gonna bust it off. Were you able to get a steel or aluminum trigger and trigger guard from somewhere?
I have a gen 2. When I first took it out shooting i was surprised at how bad it felt. It was shocking. When I got it apart I found that one of the trigger springs was actually not even set right. thats probably why it felt so bad. Had I not put in lighter trigger kit I'm sure it would have felt better once put back in place, but ill never know. I found a company in the USA called m-carbo that makes an anodized trigger and trigger guard.
Great, thanks for the tip. I was lucky enough to get a Red Lion indexing forearm when they were still shipping up here. A trigger job and replacing the plastic trigger guard will make this perfect
