KelTech SU16c Are these for sale in bc and nonrestrict

The SU16f is available in Canada non-restricted. I believe its the F models, are the longer barrel mainly?

Kel-tec fans and haters will chime in shortly.

They are on the EE fairly regularly. Sponsors have them also.

pardon my ignorance, but s16c is a semi auto and has a barrel size of 16" according to the keltec website. Wouldn't that make it automatically restricted by barrel length?

looks like the ones you'll likely find in canada are the F model which have the 18.5" barrel for canadian non restricted.
 
i remember seeing one at reliable guns in vancouver couple weeks ago. canadian version should come with a 18.5" barrel.
 
Look up Vault in BC. They are the keltec importer for Canada. There is a Canadian version which is NR. Iirc there is a special Canadian version aswell.
Anyway I had one. Still have the SU22 which is a mini version.
Shoot great but isnt a presision shooter unless you reload and find what it likes.
There is a pistol grip swap that works for both the su16 and 22.
It is a great upgrade but isnt cheap. $200
Still your under 1k compared to an xcr or other NR .223/5.56

Because you went through Irunguns, if you have issues I bet $100 you wont get any help from Vault if you have any issues with the gun sadly.
 
I have the SU-16F. NR Barrel length, got it from P&D Edmonton. Runs great. Accurate enough for me. Takes LAR mags well, cant argue with that.

Although it does fold in half, I don't utilize the feature unless cleaning, maybe someday...

Su16 c has a 16 inch barrel and would be restricted,I've never seen one available in canada. You can get an SU 16 f, it has a 18 1/2 inch barrel and is NR. Also you can get an SU16fx,which is the F model ,only it has all the mods done for you,such as the pistol grip,forend,threaded with a flashider,and a cheap holo optic. It comes in tan color only. I believe reliable might sell the su 16. And there is no warranty on a used su16.
 
Ya, they have 2or3 diff models. A,B,C,D models also . The F model differs from one of their models by barrel lenght only. A model I believe .

You can get an $80 USD Charlie Handle from Keltec in Cocoa FL just like ordering the AR pistol grip. If you put the Charlie handle on a SU16f it will still have a OAL that's long enough to remain NR when folded and it will still have an 18.5" NR barrel.

What I didn't like about it was that you still have that tall buckhorn sight on the front. For me the main appeal of the Charlie model and the SU16FX also is the gas block front sight. Way cleaner looking.

If Vault can bring in an NR charlie model with an 18.5" barrel I would me in for one at $900 CDN ...
