I've had airguns for as long as I can remember, but only got into PCP a while ago with a Benjamin Discovery. I like it, nice, light, and relatively accurate, but I wanted to grab something that was perhaps a little more capable, without breaking the bank... which is easy to do with PCP as I quickly discovered. I ended up buying a rifle that I had never heard of, without any reviews, and only a couple short videos from the manufacturer on the Ytube...(what could possibly go wrong...)
It's marketed as the AirBoss - made by Kervan Arms out of Turkey. I picked the C4 model with a smaller diameter air tank in .22 cal. I liked that it had a sleeved barrel (does nothing to moderate the sound), but the look is superior to the skinny ones I've seen when shopping. The wood is very nice (Turkish Walnut of course), and the fit and finish is surprisingly good. Trigger breaks clean and is adjustable, but I haven't touched it. The side action is smooth out of the box and cycles without flaw. So far the only issue I've had with it have been the front threaded insert pulling out when I attached a bipod rail (M6 threaded btw), as it appeared to have been only pressed in at the factory. I assumed they forgot the epoxy, so it was a quick correction.
I bought a cheap 3-9 scope from Amazon, and laser bore sighted it prior to launching some pellets downrange (range = backyard). Using Diablo Heavy dome pellets it put 4 pellets into a 3 leaf clover sized group at 45' (my range isn't that long....).
Here's a couple pics - for the price I'm more than happy.
Cheers
