Kevan

Rest in piece, Kevan. We exchanged a few messages over the years about custom big bore rifles, but I never got to meet him in person, although he always struck me as a stand up fellow.

My condolences to his family and loved ones.

This thread I suspect will eventually be relocated
and joined with the one there.

But let's leave it up here for awhile.

Damn.....

I bought a Ruger Redhawk from Kevan about 6 years ago. I met him at his place and he was quite the host. Within 15 minutes of meeting him, he had me and my wife in his shop showing us around. He had an amazing collection.

First class gentleman. RIP Kevan.

Kevan was a great friend and the one who got me into firearms when I worked with him as a teenager. Sold me many guns at a loss to get me into the game, always helped me with reloading or even life issues. A great loss to the gun community for sure. RIP Kevan you will be missed by many.

That truly is a shame. I never met Bruce but I did manage to find him a part that he was in need of and in addition to paying me for it he sent me an autographed copy of his book about his days as a bush pilot in Northern B.C. He was a wealth of knowledge.

I actually first 'met' Bruce on line. This was after I had made mention of a search that had been done years back, for the sawmill partner of a relative of mine. Bruce contacted me to let me know he recalled the air search in question as he had been on it. After some correspondence, I picked up a copy of his book. Then, a few years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting him, face to face, at a gun show in Salmon Arm:d.
