Keymod or m-lok

i don't like keymod as it looks like the shelving you can buy at ikea....

This Sent me googling. Found said shelving. Mlok here I come. Everytime I see anything else in my house from ikea I puke a little in my mouth. Slowly being phased out. Don't want to revive it and ruin something I love lol

supplies rifles to, IIRC, something like 17 different SOF units, and they didn't build a KM version because nobody asked for one.


I appreciate your loyalty to your friend but that battle has already been decided.

Just to clarify, I don't have any friends or contacts at Colt Canada. I was just stating my personal preference for MLOK

To also clarify...I was talking to mebiuspower, who IIRC is friends with the designer of keymod.

I don't have any keymod OR mlok that I can think of offhand...but anyone who can't see the market's going with Mlok is just kidding themselves. The literal minute that BCM breaks down and builds a KMR rail with Mlok instead, that format is done. I understand why they've been fighting it and so far they're steadfast (probably because that's what keeping Keymod alive) but at some point it's pointless to keep fighting it, and better to just take the money from making an Mlok KMR rail.

Which I might actually pull rails off one of my ARs to buy, because the KMR is a great design. I just wouldn't spend the money to replace a picatinny quad rail with a keymod one.
