I thought boretech eliminator was good and it was, is, compared to wipeout, cr-10 and sweets7.62. Eliminator would show copper when all others had stopped showing any sings of it, but KG12 just freaked me out on how fast and well it worked!! As soon as put the bullet into the solution it looked like it started to frost up. I just recieved a bottle of it and had some eliminator, and I put together a small test; in 1 cup a 160gr accubond and eliminator and the other cup KG12 and a 160gr accubond. After 1hour and 15min the KG12 had dissolved 1.5grs off the bullet where as the eliminator had done nothing. I still have the bullets in the solutions and will check after 12hours and 24hours and let everyone know the results. Great stuff guys!

Those tests are always interesting....but have ya tried cleaning a bore with it?

Cleaning a bore with it is EASY, just remember 2 things.

1. Degrease/remove carbon from bore with a solvent, something that doesn't leave a residue. (I use MPro7 but brake cleaner will work) Don't use a cleaning solvent like Hoppes #9 because it leaves an oily film.

2. Apply KG12 and LET IT SIT for at least 10+ minutes, keep it wet. The longer the better. (This also applies to MPro7, Silkshot and similar cleaners, they need to be kept wet for a bit of time to work properly)

Main reason I have switched to products like MPro7 and KG12 is because they are non-toxic and don't smell. But I admit to loving the smell of Hoppes #9
