Hi to all,

I came across a khan Arthemis inbox shotgun last week. I have never seen a review of this shotgun. Anyone has information about accuracy, quality etc?
At $725 it seemed a good deal. I get that it might not be the same quality as Beretta or the like.

I have a khan ou. It's a tristar setter. If i was a prick I'd give it away but I can't bring myself to do that to another gunny.

Replaced both firing pins
Safety
Barrel selector
Bead fell off
Barrel rib separated
Trigger jammed
Barrels were no where near each other poi
Forearm latch broke.

If you do buy a khan...best of luck

I will stay away from the Khans. I appreciate the information.

Thanks for your honesty! Certainly not going to buy!

Khan is who makes the Mossberg Silver Reserve and early guns had a few issues. I don't know if they have improved or not. I'm not sure if Khan makes the Stevens 512 or if it's some other Turkish company.

The mobile style chokes that came with my khan tristar say rated for steel. They are not. 1 shot with 3" #3 steel blew the body of the mod choke out so much that I had to use vise grips and a hammer to get it out. Oil and heat didn't work. When I finally got a hold of their USA gunsmith I was told that #3 steel was to big for a modified choke. He recommended carlsons chokes. I bought Beretta Mobile chokes for it

I will say the bluing is nice. And I get compliments on the look of the gun but I don't trust it. It's a loaner for skeet.
I put a wood Dowling in the barrel and beat it with a mallet then clamped the barrels together and epoxied the rib back. So far it's held up an shoots better now. From the factory the bottom barrel pattern about 2' higher than the top barrel at 21 yards

Not all turkish brands are bad quality but i've seen and handled several khan and kral guns that have failed and parts take forever to get if you can get them at all

I traded a old 1100 for this tristar setter new in the box from a friend. I should have kept the Remington

Mossberg ou silver reserve still have issues with the firing pins and the toe safety block. They double quite often and the block doesn't always reset so the gun won't fire
A toe safety is a stupid feature if you ask me anyway. I think the new maverick ou have it as well
