Slim pickings for Locks at Track of the Wolf , not sure if they will be getting any more as Pete Allen the maker of most locks is in his late 80s and poor health.

Thanks, I am hoping to try it out this weekend. I am very pleased with the look and feel of it. I made a screw in lollipop tang peepin case I can’t see the rear sight. I will try both. The kit took 3 months to arrive but it was worth the wait.

I took it to the range yesterday. Great rifle but I made the sight too low so made a new one. Can’t wait to try it again. This is going to be an awesome offhand rifle.

Love the blanket/poncho! A few years ago now we used to haunt that enormous Sunday market at Stittsville, just outside Ottawa, and I recall one table there with what we were told were Hudson Bay blanket seconds - about half-price. We took a gamble and bought one.

Twenty years later, it's still at the bottom of a bed in our guest room and I STILL haven't found the flaw that made it a second.

Thanks, it is a ahBC blanket that is about 80 years old. I hired a Metis women in Winnipeg make it for me. It is a traditional fur traders capote and it is nice and warm.

I took the Kibler to the range today. I sighted it in and played for a bit. The lock is super fast and is great off hand rifle.

I spent Sunday afternoon at the range. Poked lots of holes in the 50 yard bullseye. I have it nicely sighted in now. I just received the replacement fly today, next weekend I will get to try it with double set triggers. I also put a couple more coats of rust blue on the barrel so it doesn’t cause as much reflection.

I took it out again this weekend but used the double set triggers. I love shooting this rifle off hand. It is going to be great rifle for our trail walks this summer.

ive never had much luck with the .32 rifles. such a small bore and foul so easy and quick.

I like the little 32 cal rifles. I owned an original and did wonders on gophers, now I own a CVA squirrel rifle and am hoping it will be fun this year to. A 32 Kibler SMR would be pretty cool.
