It's finaly out.
200 bux in US. Now everybody and his dog can have a quality receiver.
It is threaded for barrel 11/16" - 16 tpi.
I am not the biggest fan of the integral picatinny rail on a 10/22,
but I love the second hold-down.

it also means you don't have to rob/purchase a whole 10/22 to do a custom build- i believe we can get everything else third party aftermarket

To bad it wont fit most custom stocks since they put that second hold down in it..

That really sucks....

Other then that, thatd be perfect for a build.

The stock can be modded very easy by making an inlet
to accept the second hold-down.
However, the bolt (screw) for this second hold-down
will get on the under-side of the stock right behind the trigger guard.

I was all excited till I saw that it won't fit into any of the stocks that I like nor will it take any regular barrels. Would be absolutely fabulous if it fit in a regular stock but still had the thread in barrel.

So what you are saying is
that the threaded barrel availability is the problem?
If so, Kodiak Outpost can apply for permits of "barreled actions"
instead of receivers only.
On a side note to Kodiak, or whoever wants to import these,
make sure the receivers take
the standard bolt, recoil spring assembly and trigger group.

But if the barrels will still be a problem,
I can supply barrels (threaded or not)
in any reasonable config or lenght (22LR only),
through a dealer I will chose at that moment.
