Anyone know where to find Kidd barrels for a 10/22 these days? Looks like dlask is done with bringing them in and importing just one barrel is going to cost more than double with fees etc. Specifically looking for an 18" lightweight ib stainless threaded.

This time last year Dlask was bringing in KIDD parts again. Too much back lash for cutting them.
There exists so many variables when talking about barrels that its all in the experience of each individual. Gun build,components used,ammo used,and most important,quality of shooter. I have used pretty much everything thats available and had great success with a few a terrible results in comparison from quite a few. I had an Adams&Bennett SS fluted barrel that was insanely accurate.Sold that gun to a friend and hes won medals on numerous occassions with this gun. Turns out, they were sold in Walmarts in the US for about $120. I have and have owned Dlask barrels that shoot exceptionally well. As far as Kid Barrels go, I have had nothing but the best experiences with them as well as their awesome triggers. Volquartsen barrels are great quality but real pricey in comparison too most. The two i had shot really good but not equal to the Kidds. These are just my experience but Ive heard lots of great things about IBI and Canadian is just a big bonus. Next build Ill give them a Whirl,
