ok so i ordered a kidd trigger group from fab sports and must say excellent service.First problem with it isent a big deal but it dosent have the kidd name engraved into it like i see on all the other ones,it did come in a sealed kidd plastic box,now the second problem concerns me for what i paid for the unit when i install it into either my older dar 22 receiver or my ruger receiver it has excessive side play i can put a piece of cigarret pack on each side of the trigger unit to take up the slack,i can take the original ruger trigger group and it installs not tight but there is no side ways play in the ruger receiver or the dar 22 receiver, any ideas or is it possible this is out of spec and needs to be returned

I noticed a little play in the one I got last week as well in my DAR22. Once the barreled action was back in my Boyd's Evolution stock there was no play. I assume that Kidd sized them a little on the narrow side to ensure that they will fit in all of the available aftermarket receivers.

i just got mine last week also, ijust find it weired that the ruger trigger group is a much snugger fit and the 400 dollar kids has so much play iam gonna send some pics of it to kidd with the paper in it as shims and see what he says did yours have the kidd markings on yours, maybe they had an out of spec batch of housings and i think the measurements for the inside of the receivers are all the same it should be a standard measurement even with an after market receiver

I don't recall if it says Kidd on the side. I figure if it isn't so loose that it is rattling around, then it's not a problem as that play doesn't affect functioning.

One and two stage kid trigger different, not same receiver, internal parts, Kid is engraved only on the two stage trigger, trigger is red on two stage and black on one stage.

You have all time side play, samething with two and one stage trigger, side play can be different on different receiver but all trigger are the same, and Kid is top quality.

Sorry pictures not really good.

ok well it was a 2 stage trigger i bought from you fab, it does look exactly like the one in the top pic just no kidd logo or patent dates and the trigger is red and curved and i agree kidd is awsome stuff the trigger breaks like glass so if there is a bit of play then i guess its normal as for the markings maybe kidd dosent mark them anymore to save on cost and the spaceing is about the same as your last pic when in the receiver so looks like iam good to go ,so any idea when youll be getting the black bolts non scalloped, iam also in need of one of kidds 10 inch stainless barrels if you can get them

I ordered the speed magazine release lever from Kidd yesterday. I mentioned to the lady who processed the order that I wished I had a video of everyone who has tried my trigger so far. The universal reactions have been surprise, a little gasp or OMG followed by a smile - it would be great marketing...

yup for sure i just put the trigger in one of my ruger 10 22 rifles and it does snug up nicly when the action is in the stock so i loaded up a clip and open my window in living room and wow that is a good trigger better than the vq kitt i bought gotta love living in the country lol

You right about engraved, I don't check on last order but if I check on Kid website pictures no Kid engraved on two stage trigger, mine on picture is old, order last year, I keep it it's a collector !!.
