I been asked by a co worker to help butcher her pig next month. She wants me to shoot it. I of course assume braining the animal is best. I maybe wrong though.
My firearm options are 270 180 grain, 12 gauge 3 inch slug, 22 win mag 40 grain or a 7.62x39 (cz 858)...I sold all my pistols to go to school (plus it would be illegal..lol)
So my 3 questions are these...where should I shot the animal ( I mean on its body....) what method should I use(gun, knife or other alternative)? If a gun...what calibre?
I know for a fact 22 mag will kill nearly all big game...however she wants the fastest route.....I think the cleanest is best lol
