Kimber 1911 holster suggestions

Hey there,

I've just picked up a new Timber Tactical Entry II and need to get a holster and mag pouches for it. I am likely going to be shooting it in IPSC matches but am also considering it for IDPA.

I am interested in a Blackhawk Serpa style holster if there is one that will fit this, but am looking for some input on how these actually work in a practical setting. A bladetech holster is another option I'm considering.

I am also welcome to other suggestions for holster and pouches if there is another popular choice.

I have a Blackhawk CQC holster for my Kimber Custom II and it works fine.

I would look at the Tac Pro which is made here in Canada and they are a contributing dealer and they do make a holster for the 1911 with a rail.

2 different holsters

Won't you be needing 2 different holsters? One for IDPA and one for IPSC. Unless there is one holster that can be used for both.

CR Speed is the best holster for competitive 1911 shooting. make sure you buy a good belt too. I think my holster, belt, and mag holders cost $300
