I had a Kimber 1911 , standard mags, 45 acp are easy to find, at present time , 9mm seem hard to get.
Blue line did have some last I looked, I may order some from Brownells, I just put a order in to tradex for some '45's
cheap, we will see, most of my customers are not into 50.oo mags

When was the last time you ordered from Brownells? I just placed an order 2 weeks ago and AFTER charging my CC they told me they no longer offer ground shipping to Canada. They shipped it air !!! Which cost more than the items I ordered. I told them to cancel, received tracking number right away. Grrrrrrrrr.

It has been 3-4 months , last order was small parts in mail.
Air freight would be too high, being old guy I always do it over the phone, and for gunsmith pricing.

CanadaAmmo Mec-Gar 1911 9mm mags $31.99. And yes, they are in stock!

I'm not familiar with the Kimber 1911 magazines, but I did buy a couple of Mec-Gar mags for my 9mm 1911. They work well, no fail to feed, no issues loading them. They sit great in the magwell. I plan to pick up a couple more, with no concerns.

Kimber mags in 45 ACP are the same as any other 1911. I run the factory kimber mag, a cheap $25 8-round mag I bought at the LGS and a Wilson Combat 47D mag. They all work, but the wilson just seems a little nicer and I've had less jams out of it than the others.

It took a couple hundred rounds but now my Custom II two-tone seems to run flawlessly with whatever mag I give it.
