Kimber 7 Twist ? stablise?

A 7mm 1:9 will stabilize 168 gr VLDs and ULDs, so you're fine with 160 gr game bullets; even monos if you care to use them. According to Bryan Litz, the ballistics guru, a 1:9.3 or faster is recommended for the 168 gr Berger. He suggests 1:9.9 or faster is required for the .284/175 gr TSX. On a related note, the .277/180 gr Woodleigh, disappointingly, wouldn't stabilize in my son's 1:10 .270.
