Looking for some experienced answers, can my Kimber 84 barrel be set back and rechambered to 218 Bee and the bolt opened up a little to except the bigger casing?, I have loaded 3 cases in the mag one rim in front of another and the bolt "kind"of picks them up and goes into the 223 chamber. so if the barrel and bolt work is done will I have big feeding problems?, I wanted to use a ruger #1 or #3 but I cant find one at a reasonable price!

You might be better to find a 22 Hornet. There's a CZ527 (sold it to current owner) in 22 H listed in the EE. Both rimmed cartridges and mag won't be an issue.

Easiest bet is to find a .22 hornet on one of those New England Firearms break open rifles. Lot of work to get your suggested Kimber to work with that cartridge.

If I may ask, why .218 Bee? it's a pretty old and obsolete cartridge and there are lots of calibres that out perform it in many different platforms.

Also, look at auctions and gun shows for rifles already done in that calibre, not saying nay to your idea, lord knows I've had a few of these myself but you are sure barking up a tough tree to climb.
