Kimber 9 MM stainless target 2

Kimber builds great guns, I have had a few and they worked great, but I personally prefer STI. If you want a really nice 9mm 1911, take a look at the Trojan. My 9mm Torjan had to be one if not the most accurate pistol I have even owned and it functioned flawlessly.

I have owned two in 9mm and three in .45.

If you are going to buy a 9mm get some good mags for it or you will have feed problems. Wilson Combat or Cobra mags will make it run perfect.

I just bought a used .40 Target II stainless (off here actually) and shot it for the first time last weekend. Deadly accurate. Did have some feed problems though but was using reject ammo from BDX and havent tried any good ammo yet and I think there is a trick to the last round loaded in the mag (first round into the gun) to make it feed properly. Love the gun and so does my wife. May have to find another for her.

Steve, I second your opinion. I've owned Kimber pistols and they're great but I still prefer my STI Trojan and Ranger II 9mm's. They're absolutely reliable, very accurate out of the box and STI's warranty service is the envy of the business. Kimber's warranty service, IMHO, leaves something to be desired.
