im looking for one of these, tse had one but it sold while i was waiting for my pal stuff to go through. anyone know somewhere with them in stock? ive emailed most places i can think of but if you have any ideas throw them out

I know what you mean. I just got a Kimber, but the Kimber I really want is about a 6 month wait away on backorder, so I bought and will use my second choice in the mean time (and probably keep both when #2 comes ).

What places did you email? Target Sports carry Kimber, as well as Ellwood Eps, and P&D might. Italian Sporting Goods in Vancouver does, they are a store but may ship a gun to you. Same with Hunters Sporting Goods.

well seeing as this is my first gun let alone my first 1911 i really wouldnt know what to tell him to build... guess i could just give him the specs sheet for the aegis, im going to get him to build me one just going to get it when i have more experience in what options i like and dont like. you can never have to many 1911s

You can get a .40 Dlask and it'll be very good competition gun.

It took me 6 months to get my Eclipse... it was a long long wait!! But definitely worth it!
