Call kimber directly...they have sold and shipped me parts in the past no problem. I would try and make it sound like an accident though... like you took a fall on a hunt and damaged it.

Thinking of adding the floor plate to your blind-mag Montana stock?

I'm actually looking at trading the montana stock for a wood one. The potential trader would like to keep his bottom metal to inlet the montana stock. So I only want to do the trade if I can find bottom metal for a reasonable price. I actually prefer the simplicity and weight saving of the blind mag...but I like the look and feel of real grain wood even more

I see the dilemma. I'm thinking Kimber is your only hope.

Yes I agree to try Kimber. I needed a follower and spring for my 8400 about three yrs. ago. Called them, they shipped it to me and it was in my hand within two weeks. They seem to have great customer service from my one experience.
