Kimber Caprivi 375H&H

That Caprivi is a damned nice rifle. I wonder how long you'd have to wait for one to get into the country, as I can't imagine there's too many lying around. I'd be inclined to go custom as well just for the sake of getting it perfectly fitted to you and exactly as you want it.

It also depends on what you're going to use it for...if you're only hunting in Africa or where the weather is good I'm buy the Caprivi or build something similar. If you were spending a lot of time in the boonies of BC or alaska I'd build on a SS action with a synthetic stock of buy something like the Ruger Alaskan.

It is my sense - based on comments over the years starting with Kimbers inability to meet the US Gov't standard for accuracy when Kimber was awarded the 22 rimfire target rifle contract (a standard that I recall even American Rifleman pointed out that a box stock BRNO ZKM 452 could easily exceed with anything it was fed) that Kimbers have a pretty spotty reputation for accuracy or quality in some instances .... anyway my 2cents would be to look at other ways to invest that kind of serious money you are talking about.....
