Kimber Choice HELP me decide

I have a desert warrior already but I cant decide between the grand raptor II or the custom covert II.

Anyone own these? Thoughts?

The Stainless Target II... in 10mm... you KNOW you want a 10mm!

Or wait a year, and buy it in dakotaloo...

IF, and I mean IF, i had to choose only one, I would go for the Grand Raptor

The eclipse is probably the ###iest 1911 ever made IMO. Always wanted one and ended up getting on about a year ago here. That said, my next 1911 will likely be a warrior. I would like to see them chambered in 10MM though....willing to hold off on buying another one, see what the next year or two brings for 10MM offerings in the kimber line.

So that's my input, I would suggest an eclipse. Of the two you mention however, I would go with the raptor.

Both of those are sweet. The Coverts look tempting too. I couldn't resist the Raptor II.

It is hard to pick just one over the others, hopefully one day I may have a few more. I would like to have a new Stainless Target II in 10mm now.

I just finished buying the NEW special order Kimber Pro Carry II Covert .45ACP model with Crimson Trace Laser Grip. I can't wait to get it tot he range to shoot!

i also just purchased the pro covert II with laser grips, i am curios to see what the barrel ot the end looks like, i guess it sticks out an extra 6mm for canada

Yes, that is correct. the 106mm bull barrel sticks out 6mm from the end of the gun. I kinda like that! I especially like the shorter slide. I pick mine up tomorrow when the transfer goes through.

I kind of like how the big fat barrel sticks out! This is my current Kimber stock, a Tactical PRO and a TLE/RL II PRO. It's nice because they're pretty limited. They'er oily in the pics, the finishes are actually top knotch!

If you can swing the 2 grand for the Super Match it's one of the finest handgun in existence! On the bright side with the US dollar where it is you won't be paying $2500 for it like I did! I miss it like nothing else. It was probably THE TIGHTEST handgun I've ever taken apart!

I had an Eclipse too but sold it in a moment of weekness. It's at the top of my "to buy" 1911's. Super ###y! I think it's made in 10mm too!

Of the two you listed I'd pick the Grand Raptor.

Then buy the next one on the list. I have 2 Kimbers and hope to get a bunch more.
