The same primers have gone off everytime in my 3006. Ive fired about 80 reloaded rounds in the 06 without a single misfire. Ill try to post some photos of the primer strikes, but 2 different experienced reloaders have looked at them and said they looked fine. I also compated them to other fired primers again in my 06 and they looked consistent.. I may buy a new brand regardless though just to eliminate another variable

Before you give up on the primers, I would try some tight cases first to eliminate headspace. Use a FL resizing die and back it off 1/2- 1 full turn from contact with the shell holder. Now the partially resized brass should be too tight to close the bolt. Keep adjusting it down until the brass chambers but with some resistance so there is no clearance.
The fact that the factory ammo fires reliably makes me think it will be something simple and I personally haven't ever seen primers that wouldn't fire unless there was a headspace problem in almost 20 yrs of handloading.
The kimber firing pins are also adjustable so it could turn out to be a small adjustment. I have 2 kimber montana's and they both work perfectly with federal and cci primers, one of them is the most accurate hunting rifle I've ever loaded for and it is right out of the box, I didnt even have to bed it.

I should have added that when you partially full length resize a fireformed case, it will squeeze the sides of the case down and push the shoulders forward making a tight fit in the chamber. Then keep adjusting to push the shoulders back just enough to get a light "crush fit".
