Also, Kimbers are over rated and their quality doesn't match the hype but they have managed to brainwash a few into believing that they are a premium brand.

Well said, they have some nice stuff though and now that they have it on sale it is almost regular price. To bad there is no pictures.

Why would anyone want to deal with Epps after all the horror stories we have read about on here about them? If you want a Kimber, deal with Roger at Shooters Choice Alberta, good prices all the time and no BS just great service.

Thats where i bought mine.I still paid less than i would have at epps even with their price reduction.Also,my kimbers have been excellant,accurate and reliable.Its unfortunate some people have been unhappy with theirs.

Purchased my Kimber from Rog at Shooter's Choice as well. Best price in the country from what I could find, still have yet to find the model I got for cheaper... $1265 all in (including tax and shipping) and I have yet to see it for less than $1399 pre tax pre shipping.

I know enough about 1911s to understand why there is the hate, but I don't agree with it. I love my Kimber but I know it's not the best. I just know it had all the features I wanted at a price that was in my budget and no other manufacturer did. I would have preferred a Colt or STI but no luck finding the right model either because of availability or they just plain don't make it. My number one choice is Springfield and I would have paid more for one but they are hard to find in this country.
