Kimber Stainless Target 9mm

Hi Folks,

Once again I am asking for the valued opinion of my fellow Nutz. I have the opportunity to by the gun in question for a reasonable price. Its the 2007 model in 9mm Luger.

Has anyone had experience with these? I have heard from a few different people that using the smaller cartridges in the 1911 mags have issues sometimes with the spacers in the mags. I am not questioning Kimber's quality but was just curious.

I have one. So far I have not managed to get it to shoot reliably. Failures to extract. Tried different magazines including Wilson Combat ETM. The next step is to replace an extractor. Kind of dissappointed as I bought a gun new.

it's okay, if it's the kimber supplied 9mm mag it should work well. the only real complaint i had was the machining... it was rather rough, for a $1200+ new gun

thanks for the input gents. I have an appointment to go over it with the owner on sunday. It has the kimber mag as well as a couple of the wilson combat mags.

I know its not Kimber but my STI Trojan 9mm is reliable and very accurate 1911.

Amen to that brother, I shoot mine at our 100 yard gong (on range 4 - LFGA) and it will hit them everytime I do my part (about 8 out of 10 times) with iron sights.
