Kimber Warrior/Desert Warrior

Does anyone have some experience with either of these pistols? Put a few rounds through them.
Just curious when it comes to accuracy/reliability

Aside from the post-ho'ing, can a 1911 afficiando tell me what benefits a standard length guide rod(Warrior models) offers over a full length guide rod? Most Kimbers like mine, have a full length guide rod.

I really like my LTP II and my rimfires . The warrier is internal ejector isn't it ?? From what I understand that is the direction Kimber will be going with all thier guns because of problems with the external ejector which seems to get a lot of good and bad reports from kimber owners in the USA . No problems with the LTP II ( so far ).

Larry Vickers and Pat Rogers only recommend standard guiderods in "work" guns
