Looking to buy a Kimber 1911 pistol, anyone heard of or shoot one?? Maybe a custom 2 or gold match. Looking to eventually ipsc shoot this. All opinons are valued. This will be my first hand gun.

p.s. had to do a lot of but kissing to pull this off so I want to start off right, when I blow my childrens inheritance.

Thanx in advance

Kimbers are fine guns. I prefer the Springfields myself, but if you went with a Custom II in 45 ACP you can't go wrong. (Just make sure you get one in 45 ACP, its the ONLY cartridge for the 1911)

I JUST got a Kimber Gold Match 2 (blued) and i have shot a Stainless both in 45 ACP. ONe of the best 1911's going. If oyu are in Niagara or Southern Ont. PM and we will gotot he range and oyu can shoot it. Let me know,

regards,
gavin

I have two Stainless Target IIs; one in .38 Super and one in .45 ACP. The .38 Super in particular is a tack driver.....no problem getting five rounds into on ragged hole at seven yards.

Kimber makes fine firearms. You can't go wrong with just abut any of 'em. If you can, put a few rounds down the pipe first to see if these babies are for you.

A buddy got a Warrior and loves it.
