Kimber's 22 conversion kit and Nornico m1911?

Headline says it all, will Kimbers conversion 22lr kit work on nornico M1911 A1?
What accuracy expect? Will it be picky on ammo?

Thanks.

Yes. I run mine on a 1911A1 Government. I've had less success on my NP-29. It's extremely tight on the 9mm and won't feed reliably. Others on this board are running one on an NP-29 without issues.

Mine is decently accurate (better than me). I know of another where the owner swears at his conversion instead of by it.

Yes. High velocity only (says in the manual) and I've had the best luck with copper plated high velocity. I feed mine stingers, mini-mags or velocitors and never have problems.

I had my Kimber kit on top of a Norinco .45 Gov't. Not a single hiccup. More accurate than I could ever hold it at 25m. Even surprised the heck outta my teenage boys when I could bump off clay birds resting in the sandy backstop 28 m away!!

Ammo? It loved the high velocity stuff from Ukrainian Tire Federal BulkPak 525 count!

Go for it... Don't forget to buy some extra .22LR mags from TSE in Calgary!!! Redleg is just great!!

I just checked Wholesale sports, its cheaper, but not by much;) Its probably not worth ordering from them, If they have it in stock, if they ship it in a decent amount of time, you get the idea......

It will probably be easier to just get it at your local shop, and you never know, they may take off a coupla bucks if you print this off and bring it in. They do it at my local store and besides I feel obligated to buy from the guys in my home town who have decided to put up with me for years and years asking questions and taking their time looking at guns and never buying!;) lol

Good luck
