"...am the king of cheap..." Not with that high priced fancy thing. Two saplings lashed together with twine costs the price of the twine. A heavy rubber band will work too.

Ya, but who wants to keep lashing different lengths of saplings (for different heights) and the time to cut and tie the twine. That's valuable shooting and hunting time.

Mine is really cheap compared to the price of the commercial sticks. If you wanna use saplings...break a leg...I like my solution.
