So there you have it...
2 of the most respected names on this forum don't think too much of this product... (to put it mildly)....
I don't think I'd go against that with my 1K +!!!
My shop like I am sure every shop around gets constant solicitations to carry new lines.
Some are excellent products and we thank the folks who bring these to our attention.
I imagine that Phil is pretty much on the same page as I am when it comes to new lines however, they must be obvious in a quality that their price supports.
To keep a successful gunshop open for many years is not easy. To have a respected name in this industry is hard work. This can be destroyed very quickly with getting duped into purchasing schlock products.
I will only sell the products that I know will meet my own expectations of price and quality and that I know I can stand behind, as it takes very few customers with bad experiences to ruin alot of hard work.
Carrying lines like Leupold, NF, even Bushnel has the comfort of knowing that warranty, service and the appropriate quality for the dollar is there.
I am ALL for supporting Canadian made products. I believe this country is tremendously deficient in gun related parts manufacturing and would gladly support Canadian made over any other PROVIDING the quality and service is there.
Personally I don't care if the product is made in an abandoned outhouse. The quality and more importantly the after sales service are the key components in my opinion.
If King Optics can demonstrate that they can actually live up to some of their claims and can get their overall quality up significantly they may be worth a second look, but for now.............
