Kingston FRPC Multigun Match July 10th

Less than a week left what's everybody bringing?

E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!!!!

Or at least, one of everything, and twice the ammo required for each (I had my first reshoot in Eganville, and having wasted most of it on a previous stage, ran dry :(

Really looking forward to making a fool of myself in many disciplines in the same day!

How does security work? If we're all bringing three or four bangsticks, is there a "coat check" for them, or do we sling it all and run, or leave the extras in the car? (like there's such a thing as an extra firearm)

Any changes to the roundcount/type on the original posting ? Slugs only....no birdshot ? I'm liking this....no getting stuck with the wrong type of ammo in the shotgun when the door opens ;-)

Coat check? You don't bring shotgun caddies?

Round count remains the same, 4 stages with over 50 targets down range requiring a varying number of hits (you will be briefed as usual).

I always round up the count to give a little wiggle room, plus I've been known to take an extra round or two :D

An extra round or two??? Better reload the duct tape patcher...:50cal:

When it gets here you can :) Tim@nutz, we are currently out of S&B Slugs, sorry. There should be more in a few weeks.

Last dumb question from me: Rules!

I'm accustomed to IPSC pistol shooting - will this match be under an IDPA ruleset (will I have to remove my DOH to raise my pistol holster and remove the extra mag pouches, will there be any reloads behind cover, or on the move, etc.), or will you explain the rules when we get there? (or just stay safe and have fun?) Any hints regarding rifle/carbine and shotgun rules for your match and/or Range would be handy too (long arm barrels pointed down or up?) Again, I'm very new at using long arms at a civvie event (as far as I'm accustomed, hunting rifles are on slings, barrels up, carbines and shotties are slings over the shoulder or single points, with barrels down)

Sorry this will sound way too obvious for most of you, but asking could prevent a major gaffe ("What are you doing carrying the M4 like that, you'll shoot your foot off?" or "are you trying to shoot down a plane?")

See you all Sat (should be cooler, at least!)

In my experience, long guns you're not using are staged ahead. Don't know what their policy on transitions will be on this one.

Also, for multi-gun, there are no limitations on gear. So you should be fine with your competition holster and the extra mag pouches.
