hi there, was wondering if someone knew where a kit for a long rifle that is semi inletted could be gotten, ive wanted to trade other firearms i have here for one
ic that most of track of the wolfs guns listed have barrels on "very long wait"
or id look at an assemsbled gun in trade for what i have to offer

any help would be great, also i would prefer flint guns, but ill consider a percussion gun

long rifle kits

i thank your for those links, however ivee been on every one
ive had friends get kits from sitting fox, lots of work involved
as far as clark, ive heard nothing but good about there guns
loyalist arms , isnt quite what im looking at right now, as they are more on the side of repro military guns, im looking for a long rifle, like a lancaster or southern style rifle, id be willing to trade a valuable gun i have here for one in kit form or fully assembled

check out the add for my beretta ove under in the antiques secton

Track will sell kits to assemble Lyman or Thompson Centre guns - those are very easy its to assemble.

If you want something like a Lehman or Lancaster or similar, the kit is a LOT of work and is essentially a 40% inlet blank with the remainder of the parts being rough wax castings. I have my doubts that a beginner would do a great job on one of these.

Typically, it takes me between 80 and 120 hours to assemble a track of the wolf type kit and I'm not a beginner, if that helps to gauge the level of effort(?) A lot of that is just polishing metal parts and inletting the stock.
