July 10th, 11th, 12th 2026, at the Fire Mountain Shooting Range (Highway 37 North) Kitimat BC
Friday July 10th 6pm : 500 yard Ethical hunter challenge & 5 card stud (shoot for a hand)
Saturday July 11th 8am : 200 & 300 yard Blackjack + 400 yard Shotmarker 5 shot group (w/ convertible sighters) BBQ lunch will be available by donation
Sunday July 12th 8am : 400 & 500 yard Blackjack, + 643 yard Poker chip challenge (1.5" steel target)
Blackjack : Starting at 12" and down to 2"
Hit to move on to the next smaller target, scoring is on a point system (12" 1pt, 10" 2pt, 8" 3pt, 6" 4pt, 4" 5pt, 2" 6pts - hit all six targets for 21 points - BLACKJACK!) If time and ammunition remains, the 2" target can be engaged for additional 6 point impacts. Shooters will have 2 minutes to fire up to 12 rounds at each target distance.
Fire Mountain Shooting Range is accessed via 37 Highway north, across from the Kitimat Municipal Refuse Facility. Travel by gravel road 100m north of the Kitimat Refuse Site. Turn east onto this road and travel 1 km east and south to reach the range. There is plenty of parking available to participants and spectators.
