KMG Hunting Season 2017

Superbrad, we will have to do that sometime! With turkey season around the corner, I am often down around that way ... maybe a post morning turkey hunt pint is in order soon, will have to stay in touch.

The tusks are extremely sharp, they mesh together to keep them that way. As for dangerous, not really ... they are not usually aggressive unless cornered. They do however fight with each other and that is pretty violent sometimes.

Thanks Rod. I assume most people that hunt there trophy hunt? I could see shooting a warthog and eating it. Then bringing the skull home. What do hunters do with giraffes, loins, elephants, and cape buffalo? I've always wanted to hunt in Africa, but the trips are too expensive for me to do so at this time. Thank you for sharing your photos!

Arclight, yup most of our folks are trophy hunters. Meat never goes to waste, we eat it, the hunters eat it, the staff eats and if there is extra it is sold into market. Giraffe, elephant and Cape buff is normally sold to market. Lion not so much, I have never eaten it myself, but I do know of some who do.
